Rajamahendravaram (East Godavari district): Professor M Jagannadha Rao, Vice Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) said a three-day national conference on “Ancient Telugu Literature: Historical, Social and Cultural Perspectives” will be held at AKNU from February 2-4. announced. He informed that the conference will be held under the joint auspices of AKNU Telugu Department, Classical Telugu Research Center (Nellore), Indian Language Central Institute (Mysore) and Federal Department of Higher Education. He said Acharya Madhavshi Sampath Kumar, Acharya CV Shivaramakrishna and Dr. Tharapatra Satya Narayana acted as conveners of the meeting. He requested a research paper on the topic “Ancient Telugu Literature: A Historical, Social and Cultural Perspective” along with several other proposed topics to be submitted to this national conference.
Conference Chair Dr T Satyanarayana, Coordinator of Telugu Division Dr KVND Vara Prasad, Legal Officer Mr N Nagendra Rao and Head of Telugu Division Dr Talari Vasu attended the programme.
