1. Recycle, Recycle, Recycle
I will never make excuses. Talk to buildings, train helpers and her children, and research what the municipality wants. Look for other options for items your city has not adopted, such as Call2Recycle’s battery program.
2. Go to the farmers market once a month
Most cities are now full of options! Support your local farming community and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere. Create a fun Sunday day with interesting artisan products.
3. Embrace Green Monday
Going vegetarian one day a week saves 84,000 gallons of water. Green Monday is Hong Kong’s exclusive Meatless Monday campaign. This social enterprise works tirelessly with his local F&B industry to encourage vegetarian options on Mondays. Hundreds of restaurants and catering services, including Hong Kong International Airport eateries, have Green Monday menus. Please support their great initiative.
4. Use public transportation
This is easy. If you can’t walk, choose a tram, bus, scooter, e-bike, or rideshare.
5. Hiking
Walking means hiking. Most cities have nearby parks and trails for all levels of fitness and all interests, including beach walks, uphills, scenic routes, and urban trails. Get your family and friends involved and do something different each month. Good for everyone.
6. Contribute

8. Supporting local businesses
