Waterstones Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho presents Herne Hill Stepping into Stories Kids’ Literature Fest in January.
From Monday, January 30th to Sunday, December 5th, Station Hall hosts a week-long celebration of poetry, performance, writing and illustration.
Workshops by award-winning authors, storytelling, book clubs, and even opportunities for adults interested in the book industry.

Children’s author and festival operations team member Mo O’Hara said: “The line-up includes LGBTQ writers and illustrators, writers with disabilities, participants from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and speakers representing different cultures, ethnicities and journeys through their work. same way!
