Alan Hancock College Co-Sponsors Central Coast Film Institute’s ‘Dear Rider’ Screening

On Saturday, January 14th, the Central Coast Film Society will partner with the Red Bull Media House to host a screening of the HBO documentary. dear rider, at the Palm Theater in San Luis Obispo. The screening will begin at 7:30 pm, followed by a Q&A with some of the filmmakers behind the documentary following the life of innovative snowboarder Jake Burton (pictured).

Sponsors of this event include Alan Hancock College, San Luis Obispo Film Festival, Cambria Film Festival, and Arroyo Grande Rotary Club. General admission to the screening and Q&A session is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets for the event are available in advance online at my805tix.com. The event is described in press materials as suitable for all ages.
Immediately following the Q&A, Hotel San Luis Obispo and San Luis Obispo Women in Film and Television will co-host a special afterparty.
