ArmBionics, the winner of the first batch of the M1TQ program, has organized a fundraising campaign to achieve its mission of restoring mobility and improving the quality of life for people with disabilities. One of the goals of this campaign is to promote high-tech manufacturing in Armenia. This not only makes us competitive in the global market, but also meets local demand.
ArmBionics develops complete rehabilitation solutions for people with upper extremity disabilities through cutting-edge research in prosthetics and technology. The prosthesis is made with the label “Made in Armenia”. This is one of the cases where Armenian products are superior to foreign competitors. Lightweight, durable, functional and a true alternative for the disabled.
Today, more than 400 upper limb amputees live in Armenia. By leveraging the latest technology and engineering solutions, this startup gives them his second chance to feel complete and reintegrate into society. ArmBionics not only allows amputees to return to their previous rhythms, but also gives them the opportunity to play sports and lead a physically active life.

Digitain launched the M1TQ program as part of the DigiTown project. It aims to nurture Armenian startups he ecosystem and empower talented people to launch their own tech companies.
M1TQ Batch 1 was organized in 2021 in collaboration with the Armenian Science and Technology Foundation (FAST) to help push early-stage startups to the next level. We gave eight startups the opportunity to run a 12-week acceleration program that included intensive coaching sessions and mentorship. Demo Day resulted in ArmBionics winning his 1st place and receiving a grant from Digitain.
