“Somehow, I took her with me, so I feel responsible.” [in]’ said Joanna Peck, Primus’ sister, through tears.
Primus, who has developmental disabilities and autism, cannot speak. Peck said he may have left Friday hoping to return to Brooklyn, where Plymouth lives with his mother.
“She wasn’t upset. She was happy. Happy,” Peck said. “And I told her I’d be taking her to her house in a few days.”
After reviewing security camera footage, Peck noticed that her sister had left the house around 3:30 a.m. in extremely cold, rainy, windy, and dark conditions.

“I asked myself, why did she leave?” said Peck. “Even though she had opened the door after seeing the rain and wind, I was hoping she would be back soon, but it wasn’t.”
Peck is worried because his sister left the house wearing nothing but a sweatshirt. Since then, the weather has become bitterly cold. Primus doesn’t have a cell phone and doesn’t know how to use public transportation.
Families began posting missing person flyers. They say waiting is a pain. Peck still has her sister’s Christmas present under the tree.
