Envisions software utilizes synthetic intelligence (AI) to extract details from images and then speaks the images aloud so the user has a greater understanding of the environment around them. Blind and low-vision users can see to check out documents at house or work, view labels while shopping, easily identify their friends, find personal valuables in your home, use public transportation, video call anyone in genuine time, and more.

Karthik Mahadevan, CEO and Co-Founder of Envision, said: “Envision was born from our desire to empower visually impaired and blind people with higher self-reliance and access to the visual world, consisting of things much of us consider approved, like checking out text from a book, paper, magazine, computer system, tablet or smartphone screen, perusing an item label, opening and checking out a handwritten card or letter from an enjoyed one, or running a company meeting without the requirement for support.

” The frustrating volume of positive evaluations and feedback weve gotten from beta testers and consumers who pre-ordered throughout our early bird program is equal parts confirming and heartfelt,” Karthik continued. “Customer comments like this kind of freedom is important, especially when youre outside and have a guide or a walking cane pet dog in a hand already or “this is a game-changer for me and my independence” are what inspires and drives the whole Envision team.

” Were thrilled to bring Envision Glasses to market and empower blind and aesthetically impaired people worldwide with greater self-reliance and a hands-free, easy method to see the world around them through the spoken word.”

The launch of Envision Glasses builds on the success of the companys assistive iOS and Android smartphone app, which was called Best Accessibility App at the 2019 Google Play Awards and a Hall of Fame Award Winner by AppleVis, which showcases the finest accessible iOS apps.

Envision Glasses integrate an abundance of Read, Find, Identify and Call performance with accurate OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to help users see the world around them through the spoken word.

In addition, the assistive glasses can recognise text and scripts in more than 60 languages and Envisions Batch Scan functionality allows users to scan more than one document at all text and a time can easily be exported to the Envision apps library.

The assistive glasses can be purchased via the Envision site or Sight and Sound Technology for users in the UK.

” Envision Glasses incorporate our exclusive AI-assistive software with high quality, lightweight, enterprise-grade Google Glass to use the most robust and cost-efficient vision aid technology option on the market today.”
