Happy February, Carson City! Our pet of the week is none other than Gidson, a sweet senior shepherd mix.
This 10-year-old dog has been at our shelter since late November and is not only a staff favorite, but a member of the Lonely Hearts Club.
As a member, he is free to adopt. Pets in this club are the ones that need to get into their unprecedented homes as soon as possible.
Gidson is such a good boy, and because of this distinction, he doesn’t want to share a title. That means no other pets should live with him either.
Sitting down (and staying) for an exclusive interview with Gidson, here’s what he had to say.
“Let me tell you a few things about myself. I love playing in the snow and catching snowballs. I also love cuddling and just hanging out with my people.” I have to tell you that you don’t always get along with your furry four-legged companion, but please come to the shelter and meet me!”
You can meet Gidson by going to the Carson City Chapter of the Nevada Humane Society at 549 Airport Road in Carson City or by calling (775) 887-2171 for more information.
