Waco, Texas (KWTX) – After publishing six books, the author in Central Texas spends his time sharing his love of books with local students while also expanding his knowledge of book writing. shared with an adult.
Kenisha Griffin, author, former editor, and owner of the Create and Blossom Literary Studio, “put pen on paper” when she published her first book about 15 years ago. She always dreamed of sharing her own story to inspire and help her others.
She jumped into the publishing industry, attended conferences, and was mentored by mentors. She brought her own book to life and published it.
One book she published is “Once Upon a Child”. She published this moving memoir about her nine pregnancies and two miscarriages in hopes of helping other women cope with loss.
When she was published, Griffin said members of the community came to her for help and guidance in the process of writing their own books.
“I actually provide a service that allows them to do the whole project, the management, the writing of the whole book, and then guide them through the publishing process,” she said. I go all the way from a book idea to a finished book published for the author, and then help them launch their careers.”
Today, Griffin is expanding its business and working full-time to reach more people in Central Texas.
“There’s certainly been a lot of interest, so I’m thrilled to be able to serve them full-time,” she said.
She said she has already helped aspiring writers bring their novel ideas to life.Houston resident Rochelle Gilton is interested in writing a book about facing fear with God’s help. I was.
When Gilton had a rollover accident in 2019, she felt the need to start writing. She said a mutual friend of Griffin told her about her services, and when Gilton reached out to her, she knew she was on the road to completing this dream.

In addition to mentoring people in book writing, she seeks to share her love of reading with children in her community.
She reads children’s books at local schools and libraries to encourage and excite children about literature and hopes to improve their reading scores in the process.
