Vermont Legal Aid is looking for a full-time disability attorney to join our Rutland office.

Responsibilities include individual and system advocacy on various forums representing persons with disabilities. Casework is primarily in the areas of disability-based discrimination, special education, government benefit programs, guardianship, and other areas of personal rights.
Starting salary $59,800+, will be given additional salary credits for relevant previous work experience. 4 weeks paid vacation, retirement benefits and excellent health benefits. Attorney applicant must be licensed to practice law in Vermont, be eligible for admission by waiver, or be scheduled to sit the Vermont or UBE bar exam in February . Intrastate travel by private vehicle is required.
