A woman and her 8-year-old daughter were attacked by her dog at the Uniworld Gardens 2 Society in Sector 47, Gurgaon on Tuesday, police said, adding no one was hurt.
Police said they had received a complaint against the dog’s owner and that the case had not yet been registered.
Police said the incident occurred at 6:18 p.m. when the woman and her daughter exited an elevator on the first floor of the tower.
In a police complaint, the girl’s father said a pet dog owned by a tower resident attacked his wife and daughter multiple times as they emerged from the elevator.
“My wife and daughter are traumatized. We nearly escaped, but this could have been fatal. In the video you can see how my dog escort couldn’t handle it. Because of gross negligence, the dog died.” I ask that you take disciplinary action against the owner…” said the complainant.
