During the session, the child will undergo a parental consultation session, supervised by a clinical psychologist, followed by a comprehensive diagnostic assessment report by the assessment team. The specialist will then meet with parents to discuss the final report and explain recommended treatments.
Several parents have called for including autism testing services and treatments under the umbrella of insurance companies. The cost of a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation by private clinics in the United Arab Emirates ranges from Dh 5,000 to Dh 7,000.
