Governor Sri Mangabai Patel said that for the betterment and prosperity of society, we must create an addiction-free society. Addiction leads to social distortion, and addiction causes social and family breakdown. Governor Sri Patel today launched the ‘Mera Madhya Pradesh Visan Mukht Madhya Pradesh’ campaign organized by Prajapitha Brahmakmari Ishwarya Vishwavidyalaya.
Governor Sri Patel said the ‘My India Healthy India’ national campaign has been run by the organization over the past few years in the direction of building a forward and developed India. The launch of the ‘Mera Madhya Pradesh Vyasan Mukt Madhya Pradesh’ campaign by state-level organizations is commendable. He said the organization of the program of campaigns at various levels to liberate the entire society from addiction was commendable. Efforts should be made at district/tesil/development block/panchayat level to connect those in society who are trapped in addiction and vices to the mainstream of society by breaking the addiction. In this direction he deserves credit for the work done by Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya.
Governor Sri Patel said that just as a small ray of light dispels the darkness, addiction relief is a ray of hope for those struggling with addiction. He encouraged the younger generation to protect themselves from the vices of addiction such as paan, gutka and alcohol. Addiction leads to social disruption. Governor Sri Patel said that if society improves, the country and state will improve and will be called Vishwa Guru. He said the university should fully cooperate to fulfill Shri Narendra Modi’s commitment to eradicate tuberculosis by 2025.
Governor Sri Patel said people from all sectors of society should participate in and draw inspiration from such dedependence programs. We all have a personal interest and must benefit from the training offered by the various departments of the Institute.
