The event will be held at the Grain & Hay Building from 11:30am to 1:00pm.
The menu includes ham loaf, cheese potatoes, green beans or succotash, coleslaw, pineapple upside-down cake, and beverages.
The meal will be a regular sit-down meal with servers waiting on guests. The community is invited to join us for a fine meal and a visit with old friends. Meals cost $12 and takeout is available.
Proceeds from Sunday’s meal go towards the society’s mission to preserve and share the great history of the Greenfield region, including paying utility bills, repairing seven buildings, and preserving many items donated to the community. increase. In 2022, donations from 36 sources included over 300 individual items that have been cataloged and preserved for future generations.
Each spring, the Greenfield Historical Society hosts a program for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders from the Greenfield School District about an aspect of Greenfield history. Senior social studies students from McLean High School also visit our building several times a year.
