I will not make a decision. After many more years than I recall setting lofty goals and throwing them away right away, I don’t set myself up to fail.
Now, that doesn’t mean I don’t start the new year like a freshman with a fresh Big Chief tablet.
After weeks of eating all sorts of treats and holiday foods, we’re already back to normal eating habits.
Our digestive system already thanks us. is not.
Sure, it takes a little more work, reading labels, and shopping around the store, but it’s worth it. Please move all to the trash.
Now turn off that TV and get off that sofa. Yes, it feels so good to snuggle up under a blanket and read a book or watch a movie, but GET UP!!
You don’t have to go outside to exercise in the cold. Sweeping, mopping, and even dusting will get the blood pumping and warm you up. Put some music on and think about that scene from Risky Business.
let go! The weather is bad and I am stuck at home. Please take this opportunity to edit.
One thing at a time, one cabinet at a time, one drawer at a time, one closet at a time, just do it. Donate what’s still good and throw away what’s worn or broken.
Anything that has not been worn in the past year should be discarded. No, it will be obsolete by the time you get back to it.
Every day is a special occasion. My mother had a china set that was kept in her childhood closet, but it was never used.
There are many consignment shops out there that advertise and sell unused ones.
do it to someone else do something for someone
It doesn’t have to be big or extravagant. Just check on your neighbors, share the extras from your garden or fruit trees with others, take your neighbor’s trash bags home, and just be kind to others.
Instead of sitting in your easy chair or sofa and being a bystander of life, get up, get out and use each day as an opportunity to enjoy life.
Look at that big empty calendar. Do at least one fun thing each month. Go somewhere, near or far. visit with someone
If you just want to have coffee or eat a sandwich with friends, do it! Have you ever procrastinated? Don’t wait another minute, do it! Think of each month as a new opportunity to bring life to life.
Above all, stay healthy my friends!
