
Hosted holiday tea Jackie Weld-Drake The 16th season of Palm Beach Friends of Lighthouse Guild kicks off in Palm Beach.
The event was held at Drake’s Palm Beach home on December 7th and served as the launch of the Guild’s annual Visionary Evening.

Lighthouse Guild President and Chief Executive Officer Roberts updated guests on the recently opened Technology Center at the Guild’s New York headquarters. The center is the world’s largest and most advanced one-stop he resource for vision care, rehabilitation and technical training.
Roberts also demonstrated NaviLens, an innovative solution that combines QR technology with directional guidance. Blind and visually impaired people can use a free smartphone app to navigate and access indoor settings and larger spaces such as subway stations, bus stops, museums and even local supermarkets.
Roberts, who is also a clinical professor of ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical School in New York City, said, “Your support makes what we do possible.
The Visionary Evening Dinner will be held on February 27th at Club Colette.
Proceeds support the Lighthouse Guild in its mission to provide superior services to the blind and visually impaired, including coordinated care for eye health. Sight Restoration; Behavioral Health; and Technology.
