‘I learned to cross any bridge for my son’: The heartwarming story of a single father with an autistic boy

Caretaker roles can be challenging and exhausting. A father is making headlines online for his daily struggles to help his child with autism. In a heartwarming video shared by a Bombay official, a father was seen lovingly interacting with his son and playing with him.

He also documented the tumultuous emotions he experienced in the fight to break down the stigma surrounding autism. He juggled his Rewansh treatment sessions and work, consulted multiple doctors, and conducted a thorough investigation into his son’s condition. A single father starts his day two hours earlier than he does and takes his child to therapy sessions in the evening.

In an Instagram post, father told of his experience. Rewansh separated from his wife when he was 3 years old and showed developmental delays. He happily accepted full custody of his Rewansh and after multiple tests the boy was diagnosed with an incurable disease. autism“My heart was pounding! But all I could think of was ‘What am I going to do now?

“Doctors said Rewansh needed speech therapy, special education and occupational therapy to become independent. He pushed us all away because he couldn’t talk, so he had no friends and it was just the two of us,” he added.

A 7-year-old child improved his ability to maintain eye contact and express himself in sign language. I believe that parents should do the best for their children. Also, just because you’re a single father doesn’t mean you can’t take care of your kids. I may have gone through a lot in the last few years, but I also learned for my son that there is no sea that I cannot cross!”

The father-son relationship has melted hearts online, with many applauding his perseverance as a single father. Only REWANSH is a real man.Rewansh is truly blessed to have such a DAD in his life. much power.”
