Controversial TalkTV host Julia Hartley-Brewer “mocked” Greta Thunberg’s autism after the teen climate activist got into a public altercation with commentator Andrew Tate earlier this week. was accused of having done so.

When the former kickboxer boasted of 33 cars on Tuesday and asked for Thunberg’s email address to send “a complete list of my car collection and their vast emissions,” the campaigner said. He replied as follows. tell him to email her In “small d*** energy” [at] get life [dot] com”.

“Extreme Burn” was widely praised by Twitter users, but Tate kept trying to make a comeback by thanking him for making sure “that your penis is small.”

“The world was a curious one, and I agree that you should get your hands on life,” he tweeted, citing the fact that he was the one who chose to fight the actual teenager. Somehow I forgot. Tate was then arrested in Romania as part of a human trafficking and rape investigation.

In the midst of all this, Hartley-Brewer decided it would be better to join her own thoughts, tweeting Thunberg’s denunciations, addition: “I choose the life of Andrew Tate every time over the life of an uneducated, autistic, doomsday ecocultist. The only car I own is a diesel Tiguan.” .”

Hartley Brewer’s decision to lump Thunberg’s comments about autism into an insult to her was widely criticized online, with one father of an autistic child. describe the station’s choice of words as ‘disgusting’ and called her to “cancel”.

“My Autistic Son Is Worth $100 Julia Hartley Brewers” commented another.

One third I have written: “I’m autistic and I’m sick of Julia, and the only car I have is a bus pass.”

in the meantime, Guardian Columnist and political commentator Owen Jones Added: “Much like Tate, the fact that this 19-year-old autistic woman has achieved so much, and that it’s not just a sordid right-wing shock joke, really pissed off Hartley Brewer. I have no doubt.”

Hartley-Brewer later took down the post in favor of a rephrased version that removed the word “autism.”

she Said: “Removed a previous tweet that mentioned Greta’s autism because I only mentioned it because she said it in her Twitter bio, but people are upset about the fact. Although there was nothing wrong with this woman calling a man a “little d***”. “

That said, her replacement tweet still sparks controversy, with some asking if she still stands by Tate’s claim to choose life “every time” after his arrest.

Thunberg opened up more about his autism last April, explaining that he was diagnosed with it when he was 12 years old.

“Today, so many people (particularly girls) remain undiagnosed. It is the fact that we regard it as something that must be done. I have written.

So I’m sure Hartley-Brewer’s comment didn’t help, but is there any other case?

The teenager’s thread continued: “Autism is not a disease. It’s not something you ‘have’.”

“It’s just that you’re a little different from everyone else. And in a world where everyone acts and thinks the same way and strives to look different, being different is something to be truly proud of.” That’s it.

“That’s why I’m so proud to be autistic,” she said.

    Greta, give you more power.
