Smoler said Page boasted about the incident on social media.
Court records show that Paige was initially charged with a misdemeanor, but was later upgraded to a felony.
He was indicted on six counts of aggravated battery in late November. The warrant was issued in early December.
Lake County Judge Theodore Potkonjak ordered a bond of $50,000, which was set in the warrant.
Page remains in custody at the Lake County Jail and will have to throw in $5,000 in cash to be released.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 25.
