Wausau, Wisconsin (WSAW) – When it comes to keeping kids entertained, literately interested, and reading successful, there’s no better place than your local library.

The Marathon County Public Library is hosting a number of storytelling events to keep your child interested in books in January. Some events feature songs, games, puppet shows, and crafts.

The following story times will be held at the following locations:

Wausau (300 N. First Street, Wausau)

    bouncing babies story time

Babies and their parents are invited to the library for a 20-minute rapsit story time. Babies sit on the caregiver’s lap and enjoy singing and rhyming while bouncing. She shares nursery rhymes, songs, and board books. A leisurely playtime is provided afterwards for parents and caregivers (and babies!) to socialize. Perfect for children 1 year and younger.
