The Lord Was Recognized as a “Remarkable Neighbor”
Partners at Patriotism, a Foxborough-based non-profit, recently credited longtime Foxboro resident Beverly Road in its latest “Notable Neighbors” announcement.
Each week, the group reaches out to residents of noteworthy neighborhoods on social media.
Lorde has lived in Foxborough for 45 years and taught French at Foxborough High School for over 20 years before retiring.
While teaching at school, Lord initiated a French-Spanish exchange program and directed many musicals.
She remains committed to the arts by advocating for community theater through organizations such as the New England Theater Conference and the American Community Theater Association.
“Art and education are my life’s work,” said Lorde. “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and serve in this caring community.”
