Frankfort, Kentucky (FOX 56) – The new Franklin County Humanitarian Society building is just three months old and needs your help to make it strong.
Now Shelter is running the “Great Bourbon Raffle” again, and the raffle brought in $50,000. The raffle continues until his February 7th. Last year’s raffle had great results and the staff is hoping for a big turnout again.
The shelter building is now 80% complete with an opening date set for April.
As the big day approaches, former Director Sam Marcus is reminding the public that these raffles are important to the mission of our humanitarian society. , means that when the open day comes, you will hardly need to rent for shelter.
