opalocka, florida – A 56-year-old man appeared in Mami-Dade court on Thursday, where detectives charged him with shooting him in the neck and arm.
According to police reports, officers detained Ulrich Dennen on Wednesday at the garage where he lived at 2121 NW 139th Street.
According to reports, when the victim started arguing, Dennen told officers that he was lying on his office couch because he wasn’t looking for trouble.
The victim said Dennen reached under the couch in his office and pulled out a gun during a heated argument, according to police.
According to police, Dennen drove the victim into the store’s warehouse and began firing several times.
After injuring the victim, Dennen broke the window of the victim’s car and got inside, police said.
Dennen later turned over both guns to the police. He has been in custody without restraint at Turner Guildford Knight Correctional Center since around 9 p.m. Wednesday, records show.
Dennen faces charges of attempted murder, armed robbery and displaying a firearm while committing a felony, records show.
