Mysterious Benedict Society Disbanded: Disney+ canceled the adaptation of the book series after just two seasons.

Based on the best-selling book series by Trenton Lee Stewart, the live-action series follows four talents: Rainie (Mystic Incho), Sticky (Seth Carr), Kate (Emmy DeRiveira) and Constance (Marta Kessler). It follows an orphan. Recruited by the peculiar Mr. Benedict for a dangerous mission to save the world from a global crisis known as “Emergency”, according to the official logline. Together, they must infiltrate a mysterious LIVE laboratory to discover the truth behind the crisis. When it appears, the children of the mysterious Benedictine Society must devise a plan to overthrow him.
Hale stars as both the eccentric Mr. Benedict When His twin brother, the villainous Dr. Curtain. Kristen Schaal (Bob’s Burgers, The Last Man on Earth), Ryan Hurst (son of anarchy), Maameya Boafo (rummy) and Gia Sandhu (simple favors) to complete the ensemble.
