Sioux City (KTIV) – The Sioux Humane Society in Sioux City is now accepting orders for the “Gourmet Double Chocolate Caramel Apple”.
Apples are $20 per apple and all proceeds go to help the homeless, abused and neglected animals that the Suland Humane Society cares for each year.
If you would like to order apples, please call (712) 252-2614 ext. 0 or visit the Siouxland Humane Society website. All orders must be completed by his February 7th.
Apples can be picked up at Siouxland Humane Society at 1015 Tri-View Avenue or Southern Hills Mall Center Court. Pickup times are Sunday, February 12th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and Monday, February 13th from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

According to the organization, it takes several volunteers to produce more than 8,000 apples in just one week. Volunteer he will start making apples on Sunday, February 5th and will continue until Thursday, February 9th. All volunteers he must be 14 years of age or older.
