The 147th International Convention of the Theosophical Society (TS) began on December 31st at the International Headquarters in Adyar.
“The theme of this conference is ‘Our Responsibilities in an Interconnected World.’ It will explore a scientific perspective,” said TS President Tim Boyd. βThe idea is that we are so intertwined that what affects one affects many, and with this comes responsibility,β he said. .
Representatives from various sections of the association around the world, including Spain, Mexico and the Netherlands, shared messages of love and support for the convention and its members. “You are in a place where great people have spoken, listened and lived. Enjoy every minute of your stay here,” Boyd said.
The convention, which runs until January 4th, will feature lectures, interactive workshops and a classical dance performance by Malavika Salukkay for 600 attendees this year.
