The Hattiesburg Public Library, along with the Dale Center for War and Society at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) Graduate School of Humanities, the Center for Ethics and Health Humanities, and USM Public History, presented “Disability and the Holocaust: A Panel Discussion.” increase. – A public conversation about the history of disability and the Holocaust will be held online on Monday, February 6th at 6:00 pm with a person from the Hattiesburg Public Library.
Three eminent historians and museologists bring the history of the Holocaust to life through pioneering research on war and society, historical memory, medical history, and the long legacy of disability as a social, cultural and political force. Explore this lesser-known side.

* Dr.Patricia Heevera Rice at the US Holocaust Museum
* Dr. Dagmar Herzog, Distinguished Professor of History and Daniel Rhodes Undergraduate Scholar at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
* Dr.Warren Rosenblum, professor of history at Webster College in St. Louis, Missouri
* Dr. The panel discussion will be moderated by USM Assistant Professor John C. Winters.
After an important and timely conversation, panelists will answer audience questions.
