Residents attended creative arts workshops, sampled their favorite sweet treats, celebrated his eight days of Hanukkah, and enjoyed the twinkle of his Christmas tree that graced the halls of the luxurious senior living community.

In the days leading up to Christmas, residents created festive Christmas ornaments and enjoyed a “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” show on a special visit by the Grinch himself. We stopped by with a ‘reindeer in training’ which we enjoyed.
Thanks to the participation of many community partners, Watercrest Macon has been transformed into a winter wonderland that lights up hallways throughout the community with sparkling Christmas trees. The Festival of Trees boasted a variety of themed trees judged by residents. 1st place ribbon went to ProMedica Hospice’s ‘Traditional Christmas’, 2nd place went to Hospice Care Options’ ‘Blue Christmas’ and 3rd place went to Home Instant’s ‘Ice Skaters’.
