Idaho is a beautiful place with amazing lakes, mountains, hot springs, and some of the best hiking and camping in the country. The state is sparsely populated and its natural beauty is unmatched. While most people who call Idaho home enjoy Idaho and consider it a great place to live, some just don’t enjoy living in the Gem State. While there are many pros, there are also a few things I don’t like about living in Idaho, especially Magic Valley.
Lack of phone service

Phone service is poor in many parts of the state, and being on a road trip or in a remote area can often ruin your day. I’ll go back to South Hills and make a phone call. Until we return to civilization, we may not be able to do that. If you have this problem in many remote areas and need your phone to check the internet, send texts, or make quick calls, you’re out of luck.
Drive behind a tractor or farmer

Anyone who lives out of town is stuck in the back of a slow-moving truck while rushing home after work or errands to get comfortable or watch something on TV. I have noticed that , combine or tractor. Even if you look around impatiently at the giant vehicle in front of you, you can’t pass it, and even seconds and minutes can feel like an eternity.
Smell of Twin Falls
There are certain smells that your nostrils don’t need to smell, and for some reason, many of those smells call Twin Falls home. It may not bother you much over time, but on certain windy days, it overtakes your nose and you can’t help but wonder why such a terrible stench exists in such a place. beautiful condition. It sometimes ruins the joy of living in the area.
bipolar weather

When weather apps and reports say temperatures will rise to some degree, most people expect temperatures to be off by a few degrees when that day arrives, but in Idaho, a predicted 50-degree day could last five days. there is. 20 or 30 degrees hotter or colder. You might say it’s sunny, but by the time you get there, it’s raining, snowing, or both. The weather is unpredictable and every day can be frustrating and confusing.
not enough gambling

Twin Falls isn’t too far from the jackpots, and Blackfoot is only a few hours away, but for those who like playing slots, sitting at card tables, and betting on ponies, Magic Valley offers luck. If someone wants to gamble and have a good time, they don’t have to spend their hard earned money to drive to the border. They need extra bucks to throw it on the table or put it in the machine and pull the lever. A small casino makes life in Magic Valley a little easier.
no beach

Idaho’s lakes and rivers are some of the most beautiful in the entire country, but there’s no beach where you can enjoy the surf, sunshine and build sandcastles. Yes, Idaho is a landlocked state, but the area needs more beaches. The beaches on the lake are nothing compared to the beaches on the long, sandy shoreline. If someone could push the West Coast off the edge of the US like Idaho could have a coastline, it would help make the state feel a little less uncomfortable.
No professional sports teams

It’s a real shame that Idaho doesn’t have a professional sports team. Yes, the Boise State Broncos are a great football team and their basketball team is improving, but it’s a shame we don’t see a professional baseball team during the hot summer months and snowy fall months. No basketball team. It’s puzzling that Idaho doesn’t have a hockey team. With the state’s large population, it may be difficult to assemble a professional team to meet the required standards, but why not give Boise a chance to prove it? Oklahoma City, Portland and Green Bay. , San Antonio proves that even small cities can work and have the best fan bases.

These are some of the reasons Idaho sucks, but overall the Gem State is a very nice place to live. None of these would spoil life in such a beautiful natural location. For hunting and camping most of these locations do not require phone service. Most people have out-of-state sports teams they support. A trip to the beach is a vacation delight. The lack of gambling will probably help your wallet or encourage a road trip to Las Vegas. Smells and weather suck and you can’t change it. If these are our complaints, I’d say Idaho is doing pretty well.
